Product Description
Observe condition of the surface to be treated. The deeper the scratches, the greater the pressure required to remove them. If the surface is dirty, clean with NOVUS No.1 before applying NOVUS No. 2. Shake well. Test in an inconspicuous area. Apply NOVUS No. 2 liberally. Using a clean, soft cloth, polish with a firm back-and-forth motion at right angles to the scratches. Keep the cloth saturated with polish at all times. When the worst scratches have been polished out, reapply NOVUS No.2 uniformly in a circular motion to the entire surface using short, circular strokes and light pressure. Allow to dry to a light haze. Using a clean portion of the cloth, buff the surface to a slippery glaze using firm, short strokes. This procedure is imperative in achieving the best results. For heavy scratches, multiple applications of NOVUS No. 2 or application of NOVUS No. 3 may be required. Follow with NOVUS No. 1 for best results.

Of the Novus 3 part polish we use this the most. Helps with every surface I have used it on. Extending the useful life saving $ and improving the appearances

5 out of 5 stars A Great Product For all plastic items with fine scratches   April 14, 2010

This product is very good for removing fine scratchs on platic or Acrylics. It is easy to applu. And ealy to remove. It dries to a haze so ythere is no chance to leave any residue behind. If you have deeper scratches?...It would be a good idea to purcase the Novus 1 and 2 scratch remover. As this item is # 3. In the line and is great for removing small fine scrtaches. So I imagine if run in a series of first # 1 then applying # 2 then # 3. Any scrtach would simply dissapear. Excellent product. For plastic or even better arclyic display cases. Or p;lastic watch crystals. And lenses.

5 out of 5 stars The 100 watt Shine !!!   January 9, 2007

I am a guitar enthusiast/hobbyist and, over the years, have become a bit of a repair person. I'd discovered Novus Polish No.1 & No.2 a while ago when I needed to touch up the finish of a guitar that I was repairing for a friend. I was very, very pleased with the results and I've been relying on Novus Polish No.1 & No.2 ever since to revitalize the look of the instrument's finish and all plastic parts. I couldn't imagine my little shop without it. Ordering it through Amazon.com has made it so easy to keep me in good supply too. I used to have to search all over for a Plastics Store to buy it but now it's only a point and click away... Thank you for a wonderful product and an easy way to buy it
