Blue Coral has been cleaning cars since 1927. Blue Coral has outlasted most of the competition to exist as one of the longest running brands in the industry. While Blue Coral is known for its waxes, they offer a complete line of products ranging from wheel cleaners to car washes and interior cleaners.
In an effort to work towards their commitment of quality, Blue Coral merged with Westley's Products (established in 1937) to form Blue Coral, Inc. In July 1996, Blue Coral, Inc. and Slick 50, Inc joined the Quaker State Corporation to create their Consumer Products Division. In 1998 the Pennzoil-Quaker State Company was formed with the merger of Pennzoil and Quaker State. On October 1, 2002, Pennzoil-Quaker State Company was acquired by the Shell Oil Company.
