Paste wax is a car wax product that is concentrated into a hard paste form. There is a general misconception that paste waxes are more durable (protect better, last longer, etc.), but this is not true. They simply have less solvents, and after being poured while liquefied, they hardened into a paste. There are a lot of paste waxes available. Most are junk, however, a few master wax makers still exist who craft very fine "show car" waxes. I love these products. They don't protect very well (compared to paint sealants), but what a shine!
